Happy Monday! I hope your week is off to a great start! Today's Monday Mantra is Be gentle with yourself.
I previously mentioned that last week was quite the strenuous one for me. It included completing a graduate-level education course and a full weekend of advanced yoga teacher training. Now that the haze of the craziness and limited sleep has started to lift, I have chosen to be gentle with myself today and for the rest of this week. You can choose to be gentle with yourself in a variety of ways and there is truly no one size fits all. You simply have to tune in to what it may mean for you. For me it includes slowing down, taking time to rest, and connecting with myself. By being gentle with yourself, you can foster a sense of living more mindfully that enables you to truly listen to what your body, mind, and spirit need in any given moment, rather than pushing yourself to your limits day after day.
